• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the specific needs of children and adolescents, integrating developmental and family dynamics into your approach.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique challenges faced by each patient, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Deliver both individual and family therapy sessions focusing on strategies to manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders.
• Offer crisis intervention services to assist patients during critical mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support is available.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists, to coordinate care and share best practices for improved patient outcomes.
• Educate families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available in the community, empowering them to support their child effectively.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards to ensure the integrity of patient records.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and learning from collective experiences.
• Stay updated on advancements in child psychology to incorporate new methods into your practice, ensuring the highest standard of care.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and adjustment difficulties. Your approach will focus on understanding the developmental stages of your clients and working collaboratively with their families to promote positive mental health.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia is essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and effective treatment methods is necessary.
• Experience in providing both individual and family therapy to this demographic is highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must, enabling you to connect with children and families with empathy and understanding.
• Ability to work effectively within a virtual team environment and use electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools, enhancing service delivery in a remote setting.
• A background in therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or play therapy is preferred.
