As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the behavioral and mental health needs of low-acuity adults.
• Utilizing solution-based treatment modalities to guide individual therapists through effective treatments.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that target unique client issues and goals.
• Providing compassionate, ethical counseling via video chat, ensuring clients feel supported in every session.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to promote positive outcomes.
• Teaching clients healthy coping strategies and facilitating insight into their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adult clients who may be encountering various life stressors, emotional challenges, or transitional issues. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state license to practice independently as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• A clean disciplinary record with no pending actions on your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to empathize, and a commitment to understanding each client's unique background and needs.
• Technological proficiency, with the ability to navigate virtual counseling platforms effectively.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working in remote counseling settings, demonstrating an ability to engage clients in a virtual format.
