Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Cavalier Mental and Counseling Services, you will:

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews to understand client needs comprehensively.
  • Work closely with clients to develop customized treatment plans that incorporate their unique goals, cultural backgrounds, and personal circumstances.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), across individual, couple, family, and group sessions.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation such as progress notes and treatment plans per regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.

  • Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting plans as necessary, and staying informed on the latest research and trends in mental health practice.

Qualifications
