You will operate via our user-friendly online therapy platform, which facilitates both video and text communication with clients.

Your primary role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on improving clients' mental health and overall well-being.
• Encouraging clients to explore their feelings and experiences, helping them gain insights into their behavior and relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in clarifying their goals and objectives.
• Assessing clients' mental health status and leveraging your clinical expertise to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on proven solution-focused methodologies.
• Remaining current with industry best practices and contributing ideas to improve service delivery and client outcomes.

The clients you will engage with are pre-screened to ensure they are stable adults with low acuity, allowing for focused and manageable counseling experiences. We ensure that each clinician is matched with clients that align with their specialties and demographic preferences, creating an optimal therapeutic environment for both parties.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Be fully licensed and in good standing to practice independently in Illinois as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating both empathy and professionalism.
• Exhibit proficiency in technological tools used for counseling and administrative tasks.

While all licensed professionals are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with prior experience in telehealth counseling or a background in outpatient mental health services. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques is also advantageous.

Our compensation package includes a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, with additional benefits:
