• Conduct confidential therapy sessions via secure video platforms, ensuring a comfortable and safe space for patients to share their thoughts and feelings.
• Assist clients in navigating their emotional landscapes by employing techniques that encourage self-awareness and emotional processing.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, employing evidence-based interventions to foster effective coping mechanisms.
• Facilitate client assessments and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed based on therapeutic progress and client feedback.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes within our electronic health record system.

As a mental health counselor at Nurturing Connections, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and relationship challenges. Your role will be fundamental in providing compassionate care to individuals seeking support through online platforms, allowing for the flexibility that many clients need today.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least two years of clinical experience providing direct mental health counseling to clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients in a virtual setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems; experience in teletherapy platforms is an asset.

• Experience working with a variety of client populations, including adolescents, adults, and families.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Experience in conducting assessments and outcome measurements effectively to track client progress.
