• Conduct remote counseling sessions with individuals, families, and couples through secure video conferencing technologies, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
• Perform in-depth assessments to gauge clients' mental health conditions, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals and objectives.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a broad spectrum of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues, adapting techniques to meet individual client needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, ensuring the safety and welfare of clients in distress situations.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records and treatment documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, while using our advanced electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions and effective coping strategies to empower them in managing their circumstances and improving their mental wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to provide holistic care, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health counseling through professional development opportunities and training sessions.

Our clientele consists of individuals from varied backgrounds dealing with a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be working closely with clients who are committed to improving their mental health and may require both immediate support and long-term therapeutic strategies.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in your state of residence.
• A Master's degree or higher in counseling or a related mental health field.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, with a preference for candidates who have experience in an online or remote setting.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with clients virtually.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and technology relevant to virtual healthcare delivery.
• A strong commitment to ethical and confidential counseling practices.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively as part of a remote team.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various client needs and time zones.

Experience in trauma-informed counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or other evidence-based treatment modalities is highly regarded. Familiarity with the specific challenges faced by our population, especially in a community health setting, will be a significant asset.
