Digital Designer II 

 

People Inc.  is looking for a Senior Digital Designer to help create designs to support editorial content for MyRecipes. In this role you work closely with the Creative Director and other designers to craft a cohesive brand design experience. You must be collaborative in your approach to internal stakeholders, while simultaneously and vigorously championing the consumer experience. 

 

As a Senior Digital Designer you will be responsible for doing competitive research, designing the look and feel of various brand elements and refining and iterating on those ideas for various stakeholders.


Assignment Details: 

 

40 hours a week

Start date: 8/31/2026

End date: 1/15/2027

Hourly Rate: $50

Location: Remote - US, NY, DSM

 

Assignment Responsibilities:

 

  • Help maintain cohesive expressions of visual identities for MyRecipes. 

  • Take ownership of assigned design projects, collaborate with stakeholders and other designers, take direction from Creative/Art Directors, and follow established processes to ensure smooth delivery of creative assets. 

  • Create digital production art including ad designs, social media assets, email assets, and animations.

  • Concept and produce custom designs as directed for various digital brand channels including Editorial, Social, Video, and Growth.

  • Collaborate with the UX design team and Design Tech team as needed.

  • Use requirements and stakeholder feedback to produce design assets such as ad designs, social media assets, email assets, and animations.

Collaborate with Design and Edit teams

  • Attend meetings with stakeholders from editorial, social, video, and growth teams.

  • Attend Recurring Design Team meetings and other group functions.

  • Present design solutions and help build consensus among a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Participate in brainstorming and critique sessions that foster big-picture thinking while identifying opportunities to raise the bar on the details.

  • Keep project management tickets up to date, communicate progress, keep files organized, follow slack channels, and meet deadlines.


Skills/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, or equivalent education and experience

  • 4-7 years as a designer

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong typography skills

  • Strong editorial design skills

  • Publishing industry experience a plus

  • Experience using After Effects a plus

  • Self-motivated and highly-organized

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A team player ready to work in a fast-paced environment
