Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and providing therapeutic services to clients via secure video sessions.
• Utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the individual needs of each client.
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with the client's goals, ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Facilitating client insight into their emotions, experiences, and relationships to empower positive change.
• Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote healthy coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of stable, low acuity adults who present a range of mental health concerns. Our goal is to assist these individuals in developing skills that enhance their quality of life, making mental health support more accessible and personalized.

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license allowing independent practice—this may include LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or PsyD accolades.
• No limited or provisional licenses and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate and empathic nature.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to conduct video sessions effectively.
• A reliable internet connection and equipped home office for video-based therapy.

Preferred Experience

We value diverse experiences in our counselors. While not mandatory, preference will be given to those with prior experience in virtual counseling settings, proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities, and a demonstrated ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds. Previous experience in community health settings or outpatient mental health clinics is also beneficial.
