Comfort Cove Behavioral Health Center is seeking a full-time mental health therapist with a strong commitment to providing quality care through innovative, technology-driven solutions. This position allows for flexibility as it is fully remote, providing you with the ability to engage effectively with clients while benefiting from a supportive work environment.

About the Organization

Comfort Cove Behavioral Health Center is a forward-thinking organization committed to enhancing the accessibility and effectiveness of mental health services for children and young adults. Our mission is anchored in a passion for improving mental health outcomes through the use of technology, which streamlines administrative tasks and enhances clinical services. We aim to foster a collaborative environment where therapists can thrive, utilizing evidence-based practices to effect positive change in our client population.

As a mental health therapist at Comfort Cove, you will work in a fully remote setting, providing telehealth services to our diverse clientele. Utilizing a secure platform for video conferencing and electronic health records, you will maintain meaningful connections with clients from the comfort of your home. Our organization encourages a flexible approach to work, allowing therapists to manage their schedules while maintaining a reasonable caseload to promote work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychotherapy services, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based methodologies, to clients aged 8-17 and young adults over the age of 18.
  • Participate in weekly case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress, share strategies, and engage in peer support, fostering a strong network of professional mentorship.
  • Document clinical notes and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards as well as best practices in patient care.
  • Engage in communication with external stakeholders such as pediatricians, school counselors, and family members, as needed, to coordinate care and support for your clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and young adults dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. Your clients may present with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral disorders, requiring a compassionate and adaptable therapeutic approach. The ability to connect with families and multiple stakeholders will be critical in creating a supportive network for each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Valid Pennsylvania licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in providing psychotherapy, ideally with our target demographic.
  • Exceptional ability to work independently while fostering collaborative learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with local mental health regulations and access to community resources is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities essential for effective client care.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with direct experience working in telehealth settings, as well as those who have specialized training in evidence-based treatments for children and young adults. Being well-versed in cultural competency and trauma-informed care will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment to high-quality mental health care. Additionally, Comfort Cove offers a robust benefits package that includes:

  • Generous paid time off to promote a healthy work-life balance.
