Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Working towards a degree in communications, marketing, life sciences, business or related field.
Other disciplines will be considered if the candidate can demonstrate relevant skills and experience.
Proficiency with website content management systems (WordPress), video editing platforms (DaVinci Resolve), and email/newsletter tools.
Proficiency with digital content tools such as Canva and Google Workspace.
Experience using administrative and workflow tools such as Airtable, MonkeyPod, and calendaring/scheduling systems is highly valued.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Student Office Assistant will support a range of communication, outreach, and administrative activities. Individual should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while supporting a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team under the guidance of BINA staff. Duties may include video editing and uploading content to YouTube, website updates, creating and managing Canva templates, supporting newsletter development, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
Physical Demands:
Work is normally performed in a typical office environment.
No or very limited physical effort is required.
No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
