As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization's desired reputation. We're looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you'll advance your skills to design, develop, produce, and advise on a variety of internal communications materials and media that supports a priority Intelligence Community customer and its workforce.
As a communications specialist on our team, you'll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to engage and inform the client's workforce, promote new initiatives and change, and encourage stakeholder buy-in.
As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you'll author a range of communications content, including workforce notices, website content, executive talking point and messages, original articles, newsletter content, and video or podcast scripts. You'll use your creativity and communications knowledge and experience to develop communications strategies and respond to quick-turn taskings, delivering excellence every time. This work is full-time on-site.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional work environment, including internships
  • Experience with editing
  • Knowledge of grammar and style and how to write effectively for different audiences
  • Knowledge of strategic communications best practices, trends, and tools
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels and become a trusted advisor
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience with Adobe Creative suite
  • Experience with Joomla or WordPress
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
