These roles are common in industries such as media, marketing, filmmaking, and social media content creation. Remote video editors collaborate with clients or teams via cloud-based platforms, email, or video calls to complete projects efficiently.

These skills are crucial for delivering high-quality, creative work on tight deadlines while maintaining professional and client standards remotely.

Junior PPC Strategist

About the Role

Foundation Software, a leading SaaS provider of construction accounting, estimating, payroll processing and field operation solutions, is looking for a Junior PPC Strategist to join our marketing team and help monitor and optimize paid search performance across our product and service portfolio. You'll report to our Director of Paid Media and work alongside our Senior PPC Strategist, supporting day-to-day account management on both Google Ads and Microsoft (Bing) Ad accounts for six brands.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role. You'll get exposure to each distinct brand, with their own audience segments, buyer personas, and competitive landscape - a fast track for building real paid search expertise in B2B SaaS.

This role supports and executes campaign strategy, budget allocation, account structure decisions, and new channel launches owned by the Senior PPC Strategist and Director of Paid Media. You'll bring recommendations to those conversations and increasingly influence them, but approval is determined by the senior team members.

What You'll Do

  • Support day-to-day management of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts across our six brands, including campaign builds, ad group structuring, and keyword management.
  • Write, test, and optimize ad copy (RSAs, expanded text ads) in line with brand voice and messaging guardrails for each product line.
  • Monitor account performance daily/weekly - spend pacing, CPL, CPA, conversion rate, quality score - and flag anomalies or opportunities to the Senior PPC Strategist
  • Conduct keyword research and expansion, including negative keyword hygiene, to keep campaigns efficient and on target.
  • Assist with bid management and budget pacing across accounts to hit spend and lead targets.
  • Build and maintain keyword-to-headline message match across landing pages and ad groups.
  • Support A/B testing of ad copy, extensions, and landing page experiences.
  • Pull performance data and help build recurring reporting (weekly pacing, monthly performance recaps)
  • Performing regular audits of our PPC efforts; address gaps and implement performance improvement suggestions.
  • Continuous support of our optimization efforts, reviewing page load speeds, title tag optimizations, H1 alignment and monitoring our Quality Scores.
  • Collaborate with the content and design team on landing page requirements tied to specific campaigns and audience segments.
  • Stay current on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platform updates, betas, and best practices.

What You'll Bring

  • 1–2 years of hands-on PPC experience, managing live budgets in Google and/or Microsoft Ads
  • Agency experience strongly preferred - comfort working across multiple accounts/clients simultaneously and adapting to different brand voices.
  • Working knowledge of core PPC metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, CPL, Quality Score, conversion rate) and what to do when they move
  • Familiarity with Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Advertising Editor, and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Strong writing skills - able to write clear, benefit-driven ad copy and headlines under character constraints.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets) for pacing, reporting, and keyword organization.
  • Detail-oriented and organized - this role touches six brands' worth of accounts, so nothing can slip through the cracks.
  • Curious and coachable - eager to learn from a senior strategist and grow into greater campaign ownership over time.
  • B2B SaaS experience is a plus, but not required; construction industry knowledge is a bonus, not a prerequisite.

Nice to Haves

  • Google Ads and/or Microsoft Advertising certifications
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Pardot
  • Experience with call tracking platforms (e.g., CallRail) or CRM attribution
  • Basic familiarity with landing page best practices and conversion rate optimization
