Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Location

This executive leadership role is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be expected to relocate to the Louisville area and work closely with the executive leadership team from the company's headquarters.

Purpose
To lead and drive the company's national sales efforts and marketing strategy with a focus on revenue growth, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will directly oversee the Sales and Marketing for the organization, managing teams responsible for national accounts, strategic partnerships, ecommerce, and communications.
Summary
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for the success of the company’s sales strategies and marketing initiatives across all platforms and channels. Reporting directly to the CCO, this leader will drive high-level strategic planning, market expansion, customer engagement, brand development, and alignment with organizational growth goals.
Duties Critical to Success
  • Develop, lead, and implement company-wide sales strategies that increase revenue and expand market share.
  • Lead and mentor direct reports including the National Sales Director, Sr. National Account Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Director of Marketing amp; Communications, and Ecommerce Manager.
  • Act as a key business partner to the C-Suite team in setting growth strategy and driving performance.
  • Create and execute annual sales and marketing plans aligned with company goals.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with top clients and vendor partners.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide detailed reporting to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, and Finance to support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Ensure all marketing and branding efforts align with customer engagement strategies and sales goals.
  • Oversee budget development, forecasting, and ROI evaluation for sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Guide the team in developing custom sales programs and campaigns tailored to large retailers and industry partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and with major clients.
  • Lead cross-functional planning and ensure consistent messaging and service across all customer-facing departments.

  • Strong B2B experience, particularly in retail and vendor relationships (automotive sector preferred).

Job Specifications, Standards, and Requirements

  • Automotive vendor or aftermarket industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and analytics tools.
