Job Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for the technical sales and marketing of fly ash, and cementitious materials, to ready-mix producers, projects, and building supply companies.
Job Location
This a remote role and can be located anywhere in MA, CT, RI or NH region. There will be travel to customer sites in the region along with our distribution site in Oxford, MA.
Job Responsibilities
  • Comply with Eco Material Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Regular contact with decision making representatives such as vice president, general managers, engineers, architects, technical managers, project managers, estimators, specifiers, and agencies to promote the value of Boral products for increases and optimized utilization
  • Maintain and grow the current account base through regular customer interaction, meaningful discussion, technical support and solution selling
  • Maintains informed and educated knowledge on industry trends and reports to management impacts that can affect our brands
  • Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and application of our products
  • Draws up sales or service contracts for products or services
  • Prepare sales volume and price forecast for area of responsibility for the annual budget
  • Provide technical support and training to the construction community regarding our products and their use, as well as construction materials in general
  • Regular attendance at industry functions and technical meetings

Job Requirements
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in functional role
