This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while ensuring that our students receive expert mental health services through telehealth platforms. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and educators, contributing to a collaborative approach in addressing the mental health needs of students. • Conduct thorough and nuanced mental health assessments for students using standardized evaluation tools and clinical interviews to gather in-depth information regarding personal history, presenting concerns, and risk factors.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans in cooperation with students, ensuring that interventions are aligned with their unique needs and focused on enhancing emotional regulation, coping skills, and positive school engagement.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care strategies to effectively manage a broad range of mental health challenges.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal development, promoting self-esteem, and equipping students with effective coping strategies to handle academic and personal stressors.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals within the telehealth framework to ensure a comprehensive approach to therapy and student care.
• Provide crisis intervention for students experiencing mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and determining when higher-level care may be necessary.
• Engage in psychoeducation with students and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health conditions and the resources available within the community.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance teamwork and clinical knowledge.
• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice in educational settings.

You will primarily serve our diverse student population, accommodating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral challenges. Your work will be vital in fostering an inclusive environment that recognizes the unique needs of each student and supports their right to accessible, quality mental health care.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid LCSW licensure in Texas is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health environment, particularly within educational settings, is preferred.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care practices is essential.
• Proficiency in mental health assessment procedures, diagnosis, and formulation of effective treatment strategies is required.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapeutic sessions utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing for meaningful interactions with individuals from various backgrounds.
• Adeptness with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

• Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms will be advantageous for effective service delivery.
