• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques, tailored for a school-age population.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and state regulations.
• Engage in regular consultations and meetings with educators, school staff, and parents to advocate for student mental health and well-being.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment efficacy, adjusting care strategies as necessary to optimize student outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in social work practices and mental health research to enhance service delivery.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents coping with various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. Engaging with students in this way allows you to make significant contributions to their academic performance and personal development. You will work closely with educators and parents to ensure a wrap-around approach to care, creating a supportive network for the students.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Tennessee, ensuring professional competency in clinical practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, vital for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.
• Proven problem-solving abilities to address complex social and emotional issues in a school setting.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience working within school systems or with children and adolescents are highly desirable.
