We are seeking a System Validation Engineer - High Voltage to lead verification and validation activities for highvoltage electrical power systems on an electric aircraft. The ideal candidate brings an aerospace or aeronautics background, strong experience with requirementsbased verification, and a proven ability to develop test plans and compliance reports for aviation certification. This role is critical in translating complex system requirements into executable verification artifacts and producing clear, traceable evidence to support certification submittals.
Responsibilities:
Develop, author, execute, and maintain verification plans, test procedures, test cases, and compliance reports for highvoltage electrical systems
Translate system and subsystem requirements into clear, testable verification artifacts, including cleanup and refinement of existing verification requirements
Define appropriate verification methods (test, analysis, inspection, demonstration), success criteria, configurations, and environmental conditions
Perform requirements analysis to ensure testability and maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, test activities, and verification results
Plan and support integration and systemlevel testing of highvoltage systems with other aircraft systems across integration labs, HIL environments, and ground or flight test settings
Execute and support verification of highvoltage components and subsystems, including batteries, highvoltage harnesses and cabling, distribution boxes, power electronics, superchargers, and charger components
Analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB or Python and document results to substantiate compliance
Support certification activities by preparing verification evidence, managing anomalies and deviations, and participating in conformity inspections and test witnessing
Collaborate with systems engineering and crossfunctional teams to resolve requirement gaps, integration issues, and verification challenges
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
