The engineer will work within a collaborative environment to build and optimize data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and support cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on data professional with experience developing ETL/ELT processes, managing large-scale datasets, and implementing secure, reliable data solutions that support mission-critical healthcare systems.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

  • Integrate data from multiple sources through APIs and other system integration methods.
  • Develop and support data analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and performance across data platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions supporting healthcare and VA initiatives.
  • Manage and track development activities using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting data engineering solutions in enterprise data and analytics environments.
  • Experience developing data solutions using Python, Spark, SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing technologies.
  • Experience with GitHub, data integration, and data analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting data analytics initiatives within enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience supporting Federal government programs and consulting engagements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations, federal agencies, or Veterans Affairs (VA) programs.
  • Familiarity with VA platforms and technologies, including CX Insights, Lighthouse APIs, Medallia, or similar veteran-facing systems.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications and data sources through APIs and other system integration methods.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud-native services and modern data platform architectures.
  • Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Benefits:
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
  • 401(k) with Employer Match.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Federal Holidays.
  • Corporate Laptop.
  • Professional Development and Training Opportunities.
  • 100% Remote Opportunity.

Note: Selected candidates will be required to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
