Premire Counseling & Wellness Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity at our Detox Center located in Irving, Texas. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality counseling services aimed at facilitating recovery for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Premire Counseling & Wellness Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the unique counseling needs of each client.
  • Utilizing the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to assess clients for substance use diagnoses and ensure they are referred to the appropriate level of care based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.
  • Developing individual treatment plans that include substance abuse counseling components tailored to clients' specific needs.
  • Creating discharge and continuum of care plans that facilitate transitions to appropriate care settings as clients progress in their recovery journey.
  • Meticulously documenting all counseling and educational services in each client's clinical record, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Managing an active caseload, which involves treatment planning, clinical charting, and routine updates for case management and utilization reviews.
  • Coordinating support services for clients and their families, maintaining accurate records of all services rendered.
  • Engaging with external referral sources such as schools, employers, and legal representatives to provide holistic support for clients.
  • Facilitating crisis interventions utilizing a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team approach to address urgent issues as they arise.

This role involves working with a diverse population that includes individuals suffering from substance use disorders and concurrent mental health challenges.
