Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive admission assessments with new patients, greeting them with a professional and warm demeanor.
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, actively discussing and setting cohesive treatment goals.
  • Facilitate utilization reviews for insurance companies, providing necessary clinical documentation to secure and maintain authorizations for care.
  • Be readily available to family members or loved ones of patients, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries within a two-hour timeframe during business hours and within 24 hours outside of those hours.
  • Collaborate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding authorization issues and communicate effectively with referral sources for continuity of care.
  • Initiate discharge planning from the moment of admission, conducting exit sessions to ensure patients understand coping strategies and transition plans.
  • Manage crises effectively within therapy sessions and provide guidance to milieu staff when interacting with patients and their families.
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation throughout treatment, adhering strictly to the policy of completing documentation at the time of service.
  • Establish and foster therapeutic rapport with patients, assessing risk levels related to suicidality and potential harm.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients who are seeking mental health support across various demographics, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our client-centric focus means you will engage in culturally competent counseling practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, all while supporting their journey toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications
