This role is set within our Detox Center, where you will have the support of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. You'll engage regularly with other clinicians and staff through virtual meetings to discuss best practices, treatment strategies, and patient care initiatives.

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
• Regularly monitor and update program documentation including treatment plans and clinical notes to ensure compliance with Utilization Review standards.
• Perform random audits on client documentation to verify adherence to governmental regulations, maintaining both legal and ethical record-keeping practices.
• Oversee the maintenance of electronic medical records, ensuring they meet all licensing and certification requirements.
• Engage in ongoing research and planning for new program services, seeking approval and implementing enhancements to current mental health offerings.

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of patients exhibiting various degrees of mental illness, particularly those in need of detoxification. This setting demands a nuanced understanding of addiction and recovery, and your expertise will allow you to cultivate a therapeutic alliance with patients, providing the support they need during their most vulnerable moments.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.
• A valid and unrestricted California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
• Two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, particularly within a detox or substance abuse program.
• Proven ability to effectively manage conflict and demonstrate strong communication skills.

• Previous experience in case management or direct social work within healthcare settings.
• Utilization of electronic health record systems and documentation methodologies relevant to mental health care.
• Knowledge of local resources to refer patients for additional support services.
