• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through telehealth to assess clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological conditions.
• Document client interactions meticulously from initial consultations through ongoing assessments and treatment follow-ups.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address unique needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using virtual platforms, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.
• Provide essential support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage the mental health challenges of their loved ones.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health treatment, ensuring the delivery of the most effective therapeutic interventions.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will provide culturally sensitive care to individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your compassion and skill will be instrumental in helping clients build resilience, improve relationships, and enhance their overall well-being.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
• Pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, to document and manage client information.
• Demonstrated knowledge of addiction disorders and co-occurring conditions, as well as familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside a collaborative and empathetic approach to counseling.

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the effects of medications prescribed for mental health conditions.
• Experience working in a telehealth environment is highly regarded.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
