Project Management Analyst - Electric Utility
Location: Remote | Supporting Projects Throughout Central New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania

ExecuPOWER is a certified women-owned engineering consulting firm providing Engineering Design, Project Management, Construction Management, QA/QC Inspection, and Renewable Energy solutions across the Transmission, Distribution, and Substation sectors of the power industry.
As our Project Management Office (PMO) continues to grow, we're seeking a Project Management Analyst to support major electric utility infrastructure projects throughout Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. This is a primarily remote position with periodic travel to utility client locations for project meetings and coordination.

What You'll Do
Project Management & PMO Support
  • Support Project Managers on electric utility Distribution projects.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate communication between engineering teams, clients, contractors, and leadership.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
  • Support contractor coordination and project resource planning.

Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze project schedules, budgets, financial data, and project performance metrics.
  • Identify project risks, trends, cost variances, and schedule impacts.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to leadership and clients.
  • Support project controls, forecasting, financial reporting, and documentation.
  • Assist with project invoicing and project closeout activities.

Process Improvement
  • Support PMO initiatives focused on operational excellence.
  • Assist with business process improvements, workflow optimization, and change management.
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting tools to improve project execution.
  • Maintain quality documentation, procedures, and reporting standards.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Managers, Project Controls, and utility clients.
  • Evaluate project challenges and recommend practical solutions.
  • Maintain exceptional client service while supporting multiple concurrent projects.

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management, Project Coordination, PMO, Project Controls, or Business Process experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • PowerPoint
    • Microsoft Project
  • Ability to travel periodically to client locations throughout Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting electric utility, power delivery, energy, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • PMP Certification (or working toward certification).
