About the Role

We are seeking a Yardi IM Client Solutions Consultant to support clients using 33Floors for Investment Management advisory and implementation services. This role combines accounting and real estate knowledge with hands-on Yardi expertise, client advisory responsibilities, and implementation delivery.

The successful candidate will work with clients to understand their investment structures, accounting processes, reporting requirements, and operational needs, then translate those requirements into effective Yardi solutions. The role will support implementations, upgrades, system optimisation, process improvement, testing, training, and ongoing business advisory services.

A strong foundation in Yardi, fund accounting, and property accounting is essential. Prior experience with Yardi Investment Management or Investment Accounting is preferred but not required. We are also open to candidates with strong Yardi and accounting experience who demonstrate the aptitude, curiosity, and commitment needed to develop deeper expertise in Yardi IM.

This is a client-facing position that requires clear communication, sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients across a globally dispersed team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing use of Yardi solutions for Investment Management clients.
  • Participate in full-cycle implementation activities, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.
  • Apply a strong understanding of fund accounting, property accounting, and real estate investment operations when advising clients and designing solutions.
  • Work with client stakeholders to understand investment structures, ownership arrangements, financial processes, reporting requirements, and operational workflows.
  • Translate client accounting and business requirements into Yardi configuration, workflows, reporting solutions, and implementation plans.
  • Perform system and business-process reviews to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, configuration issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather and document requirements for data conversions and assist clients with data preparation, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities.
  • Support the integration and flow of financial information between property-level accounting and investment- or fund-level reporting.
  • Manage or support system testing, User Acceptance Testing, defect resolution, and rollout activities.
  • Deliver high-quality system and process training tailored to each clients accounting structure, business processes, and user groups.
  • Assist with the development, validation, and improvement of financial and operational reports.
  • Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including requirements, decisions, risks, testing results, and configuration details.
  • Foster strong client relationships through responsive service, trusted advice, product adoption, and identification of opportunities to deliver additional value.
  • Collaborate with team members across the UK, US, Europe, and APAC to deliver coordinated client solutions.
  • Travel to client offices when required to support implementation, training, or advisory engagements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Three or more years of hands-on experience working with Yardi in an accounting, systems, implementation, administration, support, or consulting capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager and core Yardi accounting functionality.
  • Demonstrated accounting experience, with a strong understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and accounting controls.
  • Experience with both property accounting and fund or investment accounting concepts and processes.
  • Ability to understand real estate ownership structures and the relationship between property-level activity, investment entities, funds, and investor reporting.
  • Experience working directly with clients, customers, or internal business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage projects, resolve issues, or improve processes.
  • Experience translating accounting and operational requirements into system configurations, workflows, reports, or technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review data, identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong project organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client commitments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain accounting and system concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative, responsive, and accountable within a geographically dispersed global team.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with Yardi Investment Management and/or Yardi Investment Accounting.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting Yardi Investment Management solutions.
  • Previous consulting or professional-services experience, particularly in a client-facing or billable environment.
  • Experience with real estate funds, joint ventures, partnerships, investment vehicles, ownership structures, consolidations, or investor reporting.
  • Experience with Yardi modules or functionality such as P2P, PayScan, System Administration, reporting tools, data conversion, Forecast Manager, or Construction Manager.
  • Accounting qualification or progress toward a recognised accounting qualification is advantageous but not required.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in the intersection of accounting, real estate, technology, and client service. They are comfortable asking questions, researching unfamiliar issues, accepting feedback, and learning from colleagues with different areas of expertise.

They will be adaptable and teachable, with the judgement to work independently and the humility to seek guidance when needed. They should enjoy working in a fast-paced consulting environment, communicating with clients, solving complex problems, and collaborating with a small but globally dispersed team.

Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation package, based on experience. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, sick time, medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability insurance options, and 401(k) with a 3% Safe Harbor employer contribution.
