As a remote mental health counselor at Gotham Enterprises, you'll work from the comfort of your home, providing therapy services through our user-friendly telehealth platforms. • Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, including individual interviews and standardized testing where appropriate.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances and goals of each client.
• Provide evidence-based individual therapy and counseling using methodologies tailored to clients’ specific issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.
• Set therapeutic objectives with clients, regularly reviewing progress and adapting treatment plans to suit evolving needs.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients who may have travel or mobility limitations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies, including session notes and treatment updates.
• Engage in professional development activities such as workshops, webinars, and peer consultations to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing support that is culturally sensitive and individualized. The remote setting also ensures that you can reach clients who may not have access to traditional face-to-face counseling.

• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, but a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.
• Demonstrated empathy, a compassionate demeanor, and a non-judgmental attitude essential for effective therapy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.

While a minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have experience with telehealth delivery, group therapy facilitation, or specialized certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care or cognitive-behavioral therapy. Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in a remote capacity, is also advantageous.

Gotham Enterprises offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
