This role is primarily remote, enabling you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while enjoying a flexible work schedule. You'll be working closely with a team of talented professionals within the domain of educational support, facilitating therapy within a school setting. • Provide compassionate individual therapy to adult clients within a remote outpatient pain management program, focusing on psychological and emotional support.
• Conduct weekly psychoeducational class sessions, equipping participants with valuable knowledge and strategies for managing their conditions.
• Perform brief therapeutic interventions for individuals experiencing acute challenges, while continuously evaluating their clinical progress in alignment with program goals.
• Utilize comprehensive assessment and treatment planning methods to manage an active caseload effectively.
• Implement clinical care strategies that are informed by the latest best practices in pain psychology, ensuring a holistic approach to client treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to refer clients to additional modalities within the clinic as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans within our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards, providing care that not only meets but exceeds regulatory expectations.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who are recovering from workplace injuries, many of whom are coping with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain. This diverse caseload requires an empathetic approach that respects the unique circumstances of each client, fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work is mandatory.
• Active California License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) is required to practice.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in the field of clinical social work, particularly with an emphasis on pain management and psychological trauma.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-oriented strategies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients, helping them feel understood and supported.
• Sound judgment in clinical decision-making and risk assessment, ensuring client safety and wellbeing are prioritized.

• Experience working with chronic pain and trauma populations, utilizing an integrated therapeutic approach to maximize client outcomes.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and proficiency in documentation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate group therapy sessions.

• Base salary ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
