General Radiologist Opportunities Academic & Community-Based | Onsite or Remote | North Carolina

A renowned academic medical center in North Carolina is actively recruiting board-certified or board-eligible Radiologists across a variety of subspecialties to support its growing regional and statewide imaging network. This leading institution offers full-time, employed opportunities in both academic and community-based settings, with flexible options for on-site or fully remote (telehealth) coverage.


Whether you're seeking an academic appointment with protected time for research and teaching, or a high-volume community role with a clinical focus, there are multiple opportunities tailored to your preferred practice model. J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship is available.

  • Cardiothoracic Imaging
  • Abdominal Imaging
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology
  • Neuroradiology / Neuro Imaging

Practice Structure Options:


  • Academic Track: Includes one dedicated research/academic day per week, plus teaching opportunities with residents/fellows
  • Community Track: 100% clinical with focus on diagnostic throughput and minimal academic duties
  • Telehealth Option: Fully remote with diagnostic coverage from home, PACS-integrated and supported by a distributed radiology team

Telehealth-Eligible States:


Full-time teleradiologist positions are available as employed, salaried roles, with opportunities to provide remote diagnostic coverage from the comfort of your home. Eligible candidates must be reside in one of the following states and be able to obtain licensure in NC, States Supported: AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, and WY. These positions are supported by a robust telehealth infrastructure, centralized PACS, and dedicated clinical and IT support teams.
