Job description

Looking for a Senior Technical Consultant | InfoLease who brings deep Solifi/InfoLease expertise and an AI-first approach to every engagement. This role demands someone who has already integrated AI tooling into their technical practice and applies it to ship faster, catch issues earlier, and deliver more consistent work for clients. Candidates should be able to work under minimal supervision, collaborate across a distributed team, and stay ahead of how AI is reshaping technical delivery in equipment finance. Open to remote full-time, part-time, and contract engagements.
Position Accountabilities
  • Develops and unit tests customizations and enhancements based on requirements provided.
  • Documents technical requirements.
  • Assists with production support by providing problem analysis and resolution should issues arise.
  • Develop an understanding of clients' businesses to make sound recommendations when responding to requests.
  • Automate process via shell scripting, process automation, etc.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to user base regarding processing.
  • Evaluates customer requirements to estimate development effort on tasks/projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Create design and technical specifications that meets the client's requirements and approval.
  • Provide mentorship and training to other members of the team

Technical Skills
  • Required
    • UniData (Basic or Pick) programmers with 5+ years' experience
    • Ability to develop, code, update, debug, and unit test existing and new custom programming
    • Ability to provide problem analysis, identification, isolation, and resolution related to program process flows
    • Experience working with InfoLease (Rev9F or IL10), Rapport or Equipment Finance background
    • Active use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) in daily technical work
  • Preferred
    • UniData/Universe Administration
    • Unix/Linux O/S and scripting
    • Experience in writing SQL queries
    • Java, .NET Development, or Python
  • Desired
    • Experience with SOA, Web services, SOAP, and REST
    • Experience with user interface technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JSON, JSP, Angular JS, Google Web Toolkit)
