Senior Product Manager (US)

Loot Labs

Seattle, WA • Remote

$150K - $200K/yr

Full-time

Posted 19 days ago

Job description

Loot Labs is on a mission to make collecting fun. We believe that every collectible tells a story: of passion, nostalgia, and discovery.
Through our flagship product, Boxed.gg we are reimagining how the world collects by blending digital entertainment with tangible rewards, delivering nostalgia and discovery straight to the fans' doorsteps.
We are...

  • Community First: We've served 500k collectors and foster an active community of over 125k+ Discord members.

  • Ambitiously Led: Led by veterans from Microsoft, Twitch, 2K, and Boeing.

  • Remote-First: We value high autonomy, low ego, and trust our team to build from anywhere in the world.

Since our inception in 2023, we’ve seen significant year-over-year growth. And now we're gearing up for our most ambitious year yet, with major expansions planned across product offerings, strategic partnerships, and next-generation collector experiences. If you’re ready to build products that spark joy at a global scale, you’re in the right place.

We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap and execution for the core BOXED.GG experience, spanning onboarding, games, economics, retention, and live operations. You'll work alongside our Head of Product, and you'll grow into greater strategic ownership over your first year. You'll inherit a roadmap with strong momentum and a team that ships. You will act as a voice of the customer, and sit at the intersection of our passionate community & our world-class engineering organization.

  • Location: Remote (North America)

  • Travel: Occasional U.S. travel is required for in-person collaboration, team offsites, and company events.

  • Type: Full-time

  • Time Zone Requirement: Must have 5+ hours of overlap with US Pacific Time (9am–5pm PT)

  • Reporting Line: This role reports directly to the Head of Product and will partner closely with Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

What you will Do:
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for BOXED, balancing short-term wins with longer-term bets that compound. You'll set direction across multiple surface areas including onboarding, games, social, retention, logistics, and the in-product economy

  • Define and own core product metrics including activation, retention, and monetization

  • Drive execution, coordinating with Engineering and Design to ship value to our customers without compromising quality

  • Translate customer insights into product strategy, working closely with our community, support team, and creator network to understand what collectors love, what frustrates them, and what opportunities exist

  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, CX, and Operations to ship product that holds together across the full BOXED customer experience - from first visit through to a card landing on a doorstep

Who you are:

People who do well at Loot Labs tend to be biased toward action, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, and genuinely curious about the product and the people using it. They care about outcomes more than credit, take feedback as a gift, and stay close to BOXED customers. We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a consumer product environment, with time spent owning core product surfaces and outcomes. We'll consider strong candidates with less experience who clearly operate at this level.

  • A track record of driving measurable impact on metrics such as activation, retention, engagement, or monetization. You can talk through specifics of what you shipped, what moved, and why.

  • A bias for shipping with strong product judgement. You've worked on small, focused teams where headcount wasn't the first answer to a hard problem.

  • High empathy for customers. You understand engagement loops, consumer psychology, virtual economies, and mechanics that drive habit formation in consumer products.

  • Comfort operating across multiple product surfaces - You've owned more than one area in your career and can ramp on new surfaces quickly. You can jump between an onboarding flow, logistics platform, payment processing, and more with dexterity

  • Experience with modern product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Posthog, or similar). You can dive into data without relying on others to do the analysis for you.

  • Excellent communication. You have experience communicating with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and other cross functional departments. You can act as the engine driving forward a team with crisp, clear direction & communication

  • Comfort in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, where you can balance speed, quality, and risk

Nice to haves:

  • Personal interest in collectibles, trading cards, or hobby communities

  • Experience with virtual currencies, digital economies, and in-app purchase mechanics

  • Experience shipping consumer mobile products

  • Experience with e-commerce, fulfillment, or payments at scale
