Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental and emotional well-being through active listening and targeted assessment techniques.
  • Collaboratively develop effective treatment plans that address individual client needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a wide array of mental health concerns.
  • Administer couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering deeper interpersonal connections.
  • Regularly review and adapt treatment plans to reflect the evolving progress of clients, ensuring a responsive approach to their mental health journey.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, while adhering to best practices for confidentiality and compliance.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams as needed to provide holistic treatment options and resources for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role requires a compassionate approach to working with a varied client population. You will engage with individuals spanning all demographics, allowing you the opportunity to help children, adolescents, adults, and couples navigate their unique mental health challenges. The aim is to create an inclusive and supportive space where every client feels heard, valued, and empowered in their healing process.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State must be in alignment with board requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals and couples in various contexts is essential.
  • A sound understanding of therapeutic practices and effective communication techniques is vital for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and the ability to document treatment sessions in a timely and compliant manner.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Prior experience in a remote counseling environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A background in cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, or trauma-informed care can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Compensation and Benefits
