UIPath RPABOT Developer/ Contractor
Automation Engineer
Role Summary
The client is seeking an Automation Engineer who drives digital transformation by designing, building, and optimizing Robotic Process Automation(RPA) solutions using Ui Path Platform that streamline operations and enhance service delivery. This is a critical role that partners closely with business and IT stakeholders to evaluate RPA opportunities and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions to modernize State government services. In addition, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining SharePoint solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
Core Responsibilities
• Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end RPA workflows using UiPath Platform.
• Analyze existing business processes, document workflows, and translate business process requirements into technical specifications and automation logic.
• Build reusable automation components and support development of advanced and moderately complex RPA solutions.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries supporting automation data operations.
• Support testing, perform root-cause analysis, break-fix activities, and continuous improvement of automations.
• Maintain RPA bots, dashboards, and system integrations.
• Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders promptly.
• Develop and Maintain SharePoint online solutions using MS Power Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, risk, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Apply Agile methodologies to manage backlog, prioritize work, and deliver iterative improvements.
• Establish automation standards for documentation, coding practices, value measurement, and governance.
Skills & Credentials
• Extensive knowledge and experience designing and developing advanced scalable RPA solutions using Ui Path Platform that includes Automation Hub, Orchestrator, Studio Web and Insights is required.
• Extensive knowledge and experience developing SharePoint solutions using Microsoft Power Platform required
• Ability to debug complex workflows, and leverage UiPath advanced features.
• Uses data, logic, and structured thinking to evaluate issues and recommend solutions.
• Ability to partner and communicate effectively between business and technical teams.
• Applies Lean and continuous-improvement techniques to streamline processes.
• Identifies new opportunities for automation and adapts solutions to emerging business needs.
• Use Agile methodologies to manage product backlogs, prioritize work, and provide regular status reporting.
• Establish and maintain standards for automation development, documentation, coding practices, value measurement, and program governance.
• Manage multiple project streams and drive process improvements using methodologies such as Lean.
• Collaborate and coordinate with large cross-functional teams, platform owners, and process owners.
• Familiarity with the systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Deep understanding and experience creating both technical designs and specifications.
• Knowledge of information technology platforms, software applications, and system architectures.
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience; Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of hands-on combined experience architecting, designing, developing and implementing RPA solutions using UI Path is mandatory.
• 2+ years of RPA Solution Architect experience is mandatory.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining SharePoint online solutions using MS Power Platform is mandatory.
• 8+ years' experience in software application development and implementation is mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience creating and leveraging AI techniques such as OCR/ICR, Chatbots, Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) is preferred.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with OCR data extraction processes.
• Strong understanding of programming design and coding techniques.
• Ui Path Automation Developer Professional (ADP) Certification preferred
• Ui Path Automation Solution Architect Professional (ASAP) Certification preferred
• Ui Path Agentic Automation Professional Certification preferred
