As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Elevance Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to accurately diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Developing and modifying tailored treatment plans based on initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patient progress and needs.
• Facilitating individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to foster healing and growth.
• Emergency intervention management and crisis intervention, referring patients to necessary community resources and additional mental health services as needed.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare providers, family members, and external agencies, to cultivate comprehensive discharge plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations, alongside adhering to ethical standards outlined in the Mental Health Practice Act.
• Organizing daily case management tasks to prioritize patient needs effectively, with the goal of optimizing care delivery.
• Providing social work consultations and psychosocial assessments while implementing supportive interventions for patients undergoing crises or bereavement.
• Acting as a patient advocate to ensure exceptional communication across care teams and resolve any potential barriers to care or discharge.
• Identifying and mitigating risks of avoidable delays in care or discharge for patients with complex needs, working collaboratively with other professionals to reach effective solutions.

Your primary focus will be on adult patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment issues. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique needs. Your role will directly impact their mental health outcomes by providing compassionate and comprehensive care tailored to individual circumstances.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure in the state of Nevada as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
• Proficiency in navigating community mental health resources to enhance patient care quality.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to foster rapport with clients, ensuring a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Experience working within outpatient mental health settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
• Previous involvement in community service or outreach programs focused on mental health initiatives.
