Remote Ugc information

What is a remote UGC creator?

A remote UGC (User-Generated Content) creator is someone who produces content such as photos, videos, reviews, or testimonials for brands or companies from a remote location, rather than working on-site. UGC creators typically use their own devices to create authentic content that brands can use for marketing and social media. This role allows for flexible work schedules and the opportunity to collaborate with various companies, often on a freelance or contract basis.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote UGC creator?

To thrive as a Remote UGC Creator, you need creativity, strong writing or visual content skills, and an understanding of digital marketing or social media trends, often supported by a portfolio of work. Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or smartphone editing apps is typically required. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and adaptability are standout soft skills for collaborating with brands and managing your workflow remotely. These skills enable creators to produce engaging content that aligns with brand goals while maintaining flexibility and professionalism in a remote environment.

What are some common challenges faced by remote UGC creators, and how can they be overcome?

Remote UGC creators often face challenges such as staying motivated without in-person supervision, managing tight deadlines, and ensuring their content aligns with brand guidelines. Building a structured daily routine, utilizing project management tools, and maintaining clear communication with clients or team members can help overcome these hurdles. Additionally, regularly reviewing feedback and participating in online UGC communities can provide support and inspiration, making it easier to stay productive and creative while working remotely.

Job description

Influencer Marketing Coordinator

Contract | 20+ hrs/week | Fully Remote

Our client is a fast-growing, viral consumer brand built around creativity, nostalgia, and real-life moments. They're looking for an Influencer Marketing Coordinator to support growing paid UGC, affiliate, ambassador, and gifting programs.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is internet-native, curious, organized, proactive, and genuinely loves discovering great creators - not just creators with the biggest followings.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively discover and source creators across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
  • Build and maintain a strong creator pipeline for paid UGC, affiliate, gifting, and organic opportunities
  • Evaluate creators for content quality, storytelling, personality, and brand fit
  • Manage creator outreach and communication from initial contact through final content delivery
  • Coordinate briefs, creative direction, scripts, feedback, revisions, usage rights, and deadlines
  • Support an ambassador program, including recruiting, communication, activation, and performance tracking
  • Coordinate gifting and track creators from outreach through content posting
  • Stay on top of emerging creators, social trends, content formats, hooks, and creative opportunities
  • Proactively bring new creator recommendations and ideas to the team

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of experience in influencer/creator marketing, social, affiliate, PR, or related marketing
  • Experience proactively sourcing and evaluating creators
  • Strong creative instincts and a great eye for talent and content
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram and/or YouTube creator ecosystems
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple creators, projects, deadlines, and conversations at once
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to move quickly in a fast-changing environment
  • Genuinely curious about internet culture and excited to discover what could work next

Details

  • Contract: Ongoing part-time, with potential to convert to full-time
  • Hours: 20+ hours/week
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, generally within 9am-5pm ET; set schedule preferred
  • Location: Fully remote - ET availability required
  • Start: Within 1-2 weeks
  • Equipment: BYO computer

If you love finding emerging creators, understanding what makes content work, and turning great talent into great content, we'd love to hear from you!
