Online Tax Preparer — Training Provided

In and Out Tax Service is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as online tax preparers for the upcoming tax season. Previous tax-preparation experience is helpful but not required. We provide training for candidates who are willing to learn, follow procedures, and deliver excellent client service.

This is a seasonal, remote position with the opportunity to grow within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual client tax interviews.
  • Prepare accurate federal and state individual income tax returns.
  • Review clients’ income, deductions, credits, and supporting documents.
  • Identify missing or inconsistent information before completing returns.
  • Follow IRS due-diligence requirements and company procedures.
  • Protect confidential taxpayer and financial information.
  • Communicate professionally with clients by telephone, email, text, or video.
  • Request missing documentation and provide clients with status updates.
  • Submit completed returns for quality review before filing.
  • Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
  • Meet established deadlines throughout tax season.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
