Work Environment

This position is structured for a remote work setting, offering flexibility and the convenience to serve clients from the comfort of your own environment. While the majority of the work is done remotely, therapists will engage in outpatient office practices for client meetings when appropriate. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, screen, and evaluate clients for mental health disorders to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide direct psychotherapy and ensure accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR), streamlining client records management.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups for children and families, utilizing psychoeducation techniques to promote discussion and emotional growth.
• Offer or coordinate case management services to create comprehensive support systems for children and their families.
• Maintain active communication with families and community support networks, collaborating with school professionals, childcare providers, and child welfare services.
• Incorporate Trauma Informed Care (TIC) and Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) into therapeutic practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through training sessions and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to ensure compliance with licensure requirements.
• Engage in clinical supervision meetings, and participate in quality assurance reviews of documentation.
• Utilize your experience to mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, enhancing the overall skill and effectiveness of our treatment team.
• Commit to understanding the developmental needs of children and adolescents, integrating this understanding into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active independent license to practice in Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and communication tools; strong typing and computer skills are essential.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively, working collaboratively with various support staff and providers.
• A passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of clients through effective behavioral care practices.
• Prior experience in a remote therapeutic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
