*This is a remote role open to candidates based in Ontario.*

We're looking for a Product Developer to join our team as we enter our next stage of growth. As a Product Developer, you'll play a central role in how we build best-in-class SaaS products and AI agents across two environments: the Salesforce platform and our modern, cloud-native stack. You'll work on developing the techniques, patterns, and tools that help our teams deliver impact efficiently and reliably. This role is about tackling challenging problems, maintaining high standards of quality, and applying best practices in software development.

Who we are

By enabling these organizations to deliver their services more efficiently, we help them focus on creating meaningful connections and driving positive change where it matters most.

We believe that business is a powerful force for good. As part of this belief, we’ve committed to the Pledge 1% for the Planet, dedicating 1% of our time, product, profit, or equity to supporting environmental and community causes. This commitment reflects our dedication to creating a positive impact that extends beyond technology.

Our passion for community and innovation has earned us recognition, including:

  • Salesforce Nonprofit Sales Partner of the Year and ISV Partner of the Year
  • Globe & Mail's Top Growing Companies of 2024 and 2025
  • Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 winner 2024

At Traction Rec, we live our values: Community, Authenticity, Impact, Fun, and Growth. As a Living Wage Certified employer in British Columbia, we are dedicated to supporting not just the communities we serve but also the people who make it all happen—our team.

If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to join a company that puts community first, we’d love to have you on this journey with us. Together, let’s create stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

Skills

Traction Rec’rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. For this role, you might have:

  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years+ professional experience in object oriented programming on a product
  • Web development experience using component based Javascript and Typescript frameworks, such as React
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a highly collaborative development team
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Experience working with trunk based development and continuous delivery in cloud environments like AWS and Vercel a plus
  • Bonus points if you've automated processes with AI and used AI coding agents in your workflow to ship high quality code

Salesforce ISV experience not required - if you have strong fundamental product developer experience in other industries, and would be eager to lean into something new, we’ll be happy to teach you the platform specifics.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across our Salesforce platform and cloud-native stack
  • Oversee proposed solutions to problems and ensure the implemented software will meet business objectives well into the future
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Please note that employment is contingent on the successful completion of background and reference checks.
