What You'll Do
- Write and edit engaging scripts for list-style YouTube videos (800-5,000 words)
- Craft irresistible intros that hook viewers in the first 30 seconds
- Structure scripts to maximize audience retention throughout the video
- Research topics and fact-check content for accuracy
- Collaborate with our production team on titles, thumbnails, and pacing notes
- Revise scripts based on performance data - you're always learning what works
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience writing scripts for YouTube - please include channel links or samples
- A master of the hook: your intros make people forget they were about to scroll away
- Deep understanding of retention - you think in loops, payoffs, and pattern interrupts
- Fast, clean writer who can hit a deadline without sacrificing quality
- A sharp editor - you cut ruthlessly and every word has a reason to be there
- Bonus: familiarity with List25's style, or experience in the list/trivia genre
