Work Environment

This remote position affords you the flexibility to create a balanced work-life schedule while still being an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. The clinic operates Monday through Saturday, allowing for adaptable hours that fit within your lifestyle. As part of our team, you will benefit from in-house credentialing and management assistance for insurance participation and scheduling, streamlining your administrative responsibilities and allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for clients, families, and groups, formulating and implementing tailored treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Lead initial comprehensive assessments, triaging client care by prioritizing mental health conditions, and creating individualized treatment objectives.
  • Engage in collaborative multidisciplinary meetings, such as patient rounds, to discuss treatment plans and ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Provide a full spectrum of care addressing the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of clients across all age groups.
  • Manage casework for assigned patients, cultivating partnerships with hospitals, schools, and community organizations to facilitate seamless continuity of care.
  • Maintain ethical, timely completion of all documentation that adheres to departmental standards, ultimately enhancing the quality of care provided.
  • Deliver appropriate evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while integrating other clinical modalities into service plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic, addressing varying mental health challenges. Our clients include individuals from different backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses who seek therapeutic intervention in an outpatient setting. Your expertise will not only aid in managing clinical symptoms but also empower clients to navigate personal and interpersonal challenges.

Qualifications
  • A valid license in the State of Illinois as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Flexibility to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, dependent on client load and personal scheduling preferences.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Background in community mental health services or outpatient therapy is preferred.
