Position Overview

Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our remote clinical team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ biopsychosocial needs to inform tailored treatment plans.
• Administer individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy, applying therapeutic techniques relevant to each setting and individual.
• Collaborate with the psychiatry team to participate in program planning and to provide insights into the holistic care of program patients.
• Document clinical notes and treatment progress in electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and timely.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, clinic policies, and ethical standards in all professional interactions and documentation.
• Engage in crisis intervention and triage evaluations, providing immediate support for clients in acute distress.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with team members.
• Familiarity with EMR software and its functionalities to ensure efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, or specialized areas such as substance use disorders or trauma counseling is highly preferred.
• Previous work in integrated primary care settings is advantageous for understanding the holistic needs of patients.
