Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing the flexibility necessary for a sustainable work-life balance. While the core of your work will be conducted from your home office, you will remain connected with your team through regular meetings and collaborative documentation practices. Our facility operates Monday through Saturday, allowing you the freedom to create and manage a schedule that works best for you and your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of a diverse client population, including individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize clinical skills to perform initial comprehensive assessments, inform triage decisions, and tailor interventions according to each client’s unique needs.
• Engage in effective communication with interdisciplinary staff during patient rounds, documenting treatment progress and coordinating care strategies to optimize client health outcomes.
• Provide case management for a designated group of patients by collaborating with community professionals, programs, and services to ensure a continuum of care.
• Demonstrate ethical practice by completing documentation promptly and in accordance with departmental standards.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions, to assist clients and their families in achieving their individualized goals.

Zenea Care Counseling Center is dedicated to serving a broad spectrum of clients from various backgrounds, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults grappling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our therapists are encouraged to employ culturally competent approaches to treatment, addressing the specific needs and perspectives of our diverse client population.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed mental health professional, holding a qualification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) approved by the state of Illinois.
• Willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options available to accommodate your professional and personal commitments.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is required, offering a foundation for understanding and navigating complex patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings and proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
