• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health issues, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to inform treatment planning.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, employing therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy.
• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals, regularly tracking their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimum results.
• Provide teletherapy services to accommodate clients’ needs, particularly for those with mobility challenges or who prefer virtual sessions.
• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring client confidentiality and safety.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills, participate in training sessions, and stay current with the latest trends in mental health care.

At Tree of Life Counseling Services, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing issues such as marital distress, parental challenges, adolescence struggles, anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery. • Possession of a valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.

• Empathy, a nonjudgmental attitude, and sensitivity to clients' unique experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is recommended.
• Experience working with specific populations such as children or those undergoing addiction recovery is a plus.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapeutic tools is advantageous.
