Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to lead the relaunch and expansion of our brands - La Senza Canada and DIM Brands International, within the Canadian wholesale market. This is an exciting opportunity to build a business from the ground up and drive its profitable growth.

Reporting directly to the Head of La Senza, this role will focus on building and growing partnerships with key accounts, including amazon and big box chains, department stores, pharmacies, wholesale clubs and online marketplaces, while driving brand awareness and sales growth in Canada. This is a remote position, with 30% travel within Quebec and Canada.

This brand-new role requires a strategic thinker with strong entrepreneurial skills, a passion for building relationships, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English and French) and have a proven track record in key account management within the wholesale industry.

Key Responsibilities

Account Development & Management:

Establish and grow strong partnerships with new and existing accounts throughout Canada, building win-win value proposition.

Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, fostering collaborative relationships to drive mutual success.

Enhance current relationships within our existing customer base and expand distribution to new accounts and channels.

Develop new relationships by targeting key markets, channels, and customers, creating value and delivering exceptional support.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue profitability targets, growing the business from ground up.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand goals.

Analyze sales data and market trends to inform pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies.

Identify opportunities for new business channels and define strategies to penetrate and increase sales.

Service accounts on an ongoing basis to ensure order timeliness and accuracy.

Brand Representation:

Serve as a brand ambassador for La Senza and DIM, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all accounts.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present customized proposals and marketing plans to buyers.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.

Provide regular updates to Brand Leadership on sales performance, market opportunities, and account progress.

In collaboration with La Senza & DIM, build a tailored offering for the wholesale channel in Canada.

Market Insights:

Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and risks.

Qualifications

Experience:

8-10 years of experience in key account management or wholesale, preferably within the fashion, apparel, or consumer goods industries.

Demonstrated success in growing sales and managing major accounts.

Skills:

Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence buyers and stakeholders.

Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Exceptional communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is mandatory).

Outstanding business acumen, negotiation skills, team orientation, leadership, and analytical capabilities.

Highly self-motivated with the ability to execute new wholesale partnerships from research to final negotiations.

Demonstrated ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level.
