Job description

Contracted Clinical Supervisor (LCSW)

Individual, Group & Triadic Supervision | Training Program | Contract (1099)

We are building a contracted pool of experienced LCSW supervisors to support rapid clinician hiring across a structured, developmentally sequenced residency-style program. This role is ideal for supervisors who enjoy meaningful clinical leadership, working with multiple supervisees or groups, and contributing to a growing supportive culture that values embodied practice, thoughtful case conceptualization, and clinician development-not just signing hours.

This position is part of a long-range talent pipeline. Supervisors who thrive in this role may be considered for expanded responsibilities, teaching roles within our internal Academy, or future full-time positions.

The Role

Contracted supervisors provide biweekly group and/or triadic supervision for associate clinicians (ASWs), within a trauma-informed, high-acuity outpatient setting. Supervision emphasizes clinical formulation, developmental readiness, ethical practice, and nervous system-informed work rather than rote compliance.

Supervisors may carry:

  • A full supervision load (multiple groups and/or triads), or
  • Participate as part of our expert supervision pool, offering niche or modality-specific consultation that strengthens recruitment and retention.

Compensation

  • $100/hour - Clinical supervision hours
  • $50/hour - Administrative time (documentation, coordination, meetings)

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate biweekly group supervision and/or triadic supervision
  • Support associates' clinical growth, readiness, and ethical decision-making
  • Sign supervision hours and required documentation
  • Monitor clinician documentation practices and quality, providing guidance to ensure compliance and growth in clinical skill
  • Provide consultation grounded in trauma-informed, developmentally attuned practice
  • Collaborate with Clinical Leadership as needed around clinician support or concerns
  • Participate in supervisor consult meetings (Meeting is held remotely every other Monday at 12PM)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active California LCSW license
  • Demonstrated experience supervising multiple associates or groups
  • Comfort holding clinical complexity and mixed acuity
  • Strong clinical judgment, clear boundaries, and a developmental lens
  • Interest in contributing beyond minimum requirements (teaching, mentoring, leadership)
  • Alignment with embodied, relational, and trauma-informed approaches

Additional Opportunities (Optional, Not Required)

  • Teaching or guest faculty roles within our developing internal Associate Academy
  • Specialty or modality-specific supervision (e.g., trauma, dissociation, somatic work)
  • Increased supervision volume as hiring scales
  • Consideration for future full-time supervisory or leadership roles as program growth allows

Location

  • We have offices in Sacramento and Chico and are expanding our Telehealth Team!
  • Several fully remote positions available

Who Thrives Here

This role is a strong fit for supervisors who:

  • Enjoy developing clinicians, not just overseeing them
  • Prefer depth and continuity over reporting-based supervision
  • Can hold structure without rigidity
  • Are interested in being part of a growing clinical ecosystem with long-term vision
