This role is primarily remote, allowing therapists to provide quality mental health care from their preferred environment while maintaining flexibility in their schedules. In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories.
• Utilize assessment data to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving trauma recovery and building resilience.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to foster healing, effective coping strategies, and emotional processing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, while providing guidance on available resources to enhance their healing journey.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation compliant with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to deliver optimal care.

You will primarily work with trauma survivors, including individuals coping with PTSD, those affected by complex trauma, and clients facing dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be key in guiding these individuals through their recovery processes, helping them find new pathways to healing and resilience.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
• A robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Competence in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• An ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and demonstrate sound clinical judgment.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• A team-oriented mindset, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues.

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value diverse experiences in trauma therapy and mental health counseling that contribute to effective patient care. Additional training in specific trauma-informed therapies will be viewed favorably.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $90,000 and $100,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.
