A growing boutique law firm is seeking a Corporate Partner to join and help expand its transactional practice. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney to build and scale a practice within a flexible, collaborative platform.
The firm is particularly interested in candidates who bring an existing portable book of business and are looking for greater autonomy, upside, and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage M&A, venture capital, and general corporate transactions from inception through closing
Advise clients on business structuring, governance, and strategic matters
Maintain and grow an existing book of business, while expanding client relationships over time
Operate independently while collaborating with firm leadership on broader growth initiatives
Mentor junior attorneys (as applicable) and contribute to building out the corporate practice
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission
8+ years of corporate/transactional experience
Demonstrated experience handling M&A, financing transactions, and general corporate matters
Portable book of business required (ideally $500K+ in originations)
Strong client management and business development skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in practice building and long-term growth
