An opportunity exists for an ambitious professional to join the Sales team at Apex Petroleum Corp.
Apex is a rapidly growing wholesaler and distributor of all grades of Automotive Fuel (gasoline, diesel, aviation, kerosene) and lubricants. We also offer Fleet Fuel Cards and GPS (nationwide) to commercial, industrial, and government accounts. Jobs are available and located in the Mid-Atlantic area in the following states: Largo, Maryland, Delaware, Richmond Va., and North Carolina.
The Opportunity: We are a sale-driven company with a dedicated team to support you in accomplishing your goals. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with strong experience in sales to service customers by selling Apex products and meeting customer needs.
Sales Account Executive - Job Duties (Primary Responsibilities):

  • Services existing accounts, and establishes new accounts by planning, obtaining orders and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential customers and other trade outlets
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends product, service, and policy changes by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Desired Experience/Skills and Qualification:

  • A Minimum of 5 to+ years of working experience as a Sales Account Representative or Executive
  • Proficient in reviewing contracts, compliance documents and getting Signatures on the dotted Line.
