Job description

Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Director, Platform Management to join EnFin’s Enterprise Planning & PMO function as the subject matter expert and strategic owner of EnFin’s proposal and design platform ecosystem. You will serve as the internal authority on platform capabilities, configuration best practices, and cross-tool integrations – ensuring EnFin products are accurately and seamlessly embedded in installer workflows at the point of sale. You will define how the platforms are configured and integrated, advise internal teams on technical platform decisions, and own the integration layer between proposal platforms and EnFin's broader technology stack. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of product, technology, and sales.

This position will be based out of the San Francisco, CA or Irvine, CA office, with an in-office schedule during regular working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time) and in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered in exceptional cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Expertise & Technical Ownership

  • Serve as EnFin's internal subject matter expert on proposal and design platforms (Aurora Solar and others), maintaining deep knowledge of platform capabilities, configuration options, roadmap direction, and best practices.
  • Own how EnFin configures and leverages proposal platforms – defining technical standards, prioritizing platform capabilities, and advising internal stakeholders on platform decisions that impact installer experience and conversion.
  • Lead the technical implementation of a multi-platform approach that ensures EnFin products are natively and accurately embedded at the point of sale, working closely with product, sales, and operations teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend new platform partnerships or tooling as EnFin expands into new installer segments, products, or geographies.
  • Serve as the primary internal voice for what installers need from proposal tools, translating channel feedback and platform expertise into actionable requirements for product and technology teams.
  • Establish platform governance frameworks, performance metrics, and success criteria that ensure platform usage aligns with company objectives and delivers measurable business outcomes.
  • Advise the operations team on platform configuration and settings — setting guardrails and best practices while empowering them to handle day-to-day adjustments.

Integration Architecture & Cross-Tool Ownership

  • Own the integration layer between proposal platforms and EnFin's broader technology stack, serving as the technical authority on how data flows between systems.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to design, implement, and maintain reliable integrations that support accurate proposals and seamless installer workflows.
  • Define integration standards, technical requirements, and operating models that ensure reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Own integration health and performance — defining KPIs, establishing monitoring frameworks, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop and oversee issue escalation and incident response processes, ensuring rapid resolution of integration failures and minimal business disruption.
  • Drive ongoing optimization of data flows and platform capabilities to support new products, channels, and an improved installer experience.

Cross-functional Execution

  • Serve as the connective tissue between external platform partners and internal teams — translating platform capabilities into business requirements and vice versa.
  • Run structured governance for active platform partnerships: regular business reviews, integration health check-ins, and escalation management.
  • Communicate platform status, integration health, risks, and milestones to leadership proactively, flagging issues early and presenting clear options.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; with a minimum of 12+ years of professional experience, including 8-10+ partnerships, product management, business development or integration management ideally in fintech, cleantech or SaaS platforms, with at least 3+ years in a director-level or equivalent leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or managing a technology platform partnership from contract through integration launch and ongoing performance management.
  • Working knowledge of API integrations, comfortable translating between business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Track record of driving measurable commercial outcomes: attach rate improvement, conversion lift or equivalent growth metrics.
  • Prior experience with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Direct experience with proposal platforms like Aurora Solar, Solargraf, OpenSolar, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the residential solar financing industry
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
