Heavy Duty Tire, LLC is a family owned and operated Commercial Tire Facility providing sales and service throughout the country with its headquarters located in West Palm Beach, Fl.


We are now accepting applications for a full-time Commercial Tire Service Technician for our Jacksonville location to service Savannah and the surrounding areas.  Our ideal candidate is a driven, problem solver with experience working as a technician in the commercial tire industry.  However, training is available and all candidates with relevant experience and a solid work history are encouraged to apply.

Job Description


As an essential part of the team, the Tire Technician is responsible for ensuring the customer experience out in the field by providing a quality service that is fast, efficient and raises the bar for industry standards.   


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operating and maintaining a service vehicle
  • Changing and repairing commercial and industrial tires
  • Replacing and repairing rubber tracks
  • Providing prompt and courteous service to our customers
  • Working with office staff to ensure job details are accurate and properly recorded for billing
  • Follow all safety procedures


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Valid drivers license and clear driving record is mandatory for consideration
  • Clean background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing up to 200 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Problem solving
  • Mechanically inclined


*****Experience with OTR tires prefered but will train candidates that have previous tire experience*****


Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • No Nights
  • Limited weekends
