You will primarily work with students in school settings, conducting therapy sessions via telehealth or in collaboration with school staff. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and strengths.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address individual goals and incorporate input from students, families, and educators.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on solution-focused methodologies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records of patient engagement and progress using our proprietary EMR system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, educators, and administrative staff, to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes for students.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical incidents impacting students’ mental well-being.
• Engage in continuous professional development by exploring current research and advancements in therapeutic practices.

The primary focus of our work is on students who may be experiencing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. Your role will involve employing therapeutic techniques suited to the school environment, ensuring that interventions are engaging and effective. You will work directly with students from diverse backgrounds, developing an understanding of their unique experiences and challenges.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Mental Health Therapist license (LMSW) in New Jersey.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with students, parents, and school staff.
• Proficiency with digital communication tools and telehealth platforms, ensuring seamless remote therapy delivery.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health or educational setting, particularly working with children and adolescents.
• Experience in utilizing evidence-based therapies tailored for school environments, with a focus on creating a safe and positive therapeutic alliance.
