The Adult Mental Disability Solution Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific mental health needs of each client.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to appreciate each client’s progress and adapt treatment as necessary.
• Engage with colleagues and interdisciplinary support teams to ensure cohesive and holistic care for each individual.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation in both electronic health records and other required systems to promote continuity of care.
• Facilitate therapy sessions both remotely and in the community, tailoring approaches to fit the context and needs of clients.
• Deliver services in compliance with all program and funding source requirements, ensuring ethical and high-quality practices are upheld.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and external resources, including schools and community organizations, to coordinate support services.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to refine your skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. You will be expected to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity while engaging with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring interventions to their unique cultural and linguistic needs.

• Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and the ability to develop culturally sensitive treatment strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting the mental health needs of others.

• Previous experience in a community health setting or mental health clinic is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate various client management tools effectively.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapeutic services across a range of client issues.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
